Telfair Parker, MD
Dr. Parker is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He attended undergraduate school at the University of the South, Sewanee. Dr. Parker received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He completed his surgery internship at Vanderbilt University, a National Institute of Health research fellowship in surgery at the University of Florida, a gastroenterology Fellowship with the department of Medicine at Vanderbilt and completed his surgical residency at Vanderbilt where he served as both senior resident and chief resident.
Henry "Hank" West, MD
Dr. West is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He attended undergraduate school at the University of Virginia. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Dr. West completed his internship in surgery at the University of South Alabama Medical Center and his residency in general surgery with the University of South Alabama Medical Center where he served as chief resident.
David Baird, MD
Dr. Baird is board certified and is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He attended undergraduate school at Clemson University. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Dr. Baird completed his internship and residency at Georgia Baptist Medical Center where he was among the first surgeons in the United States utilizing the laparoscopic, minimally invasive access for general surgery.
George Grice III, MD
Dr. Grice is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He received his undergraduate degree at Carleton College. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Dr. Grice received his surgical training at Emory University and completed one year of his surgical residency focused on research, cancer and the study of disease.
Walter "Bo" Blessing, MD
Dr. Blessing is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He attended undergraduate school at the University of South Carolina Honors College and received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He completed his internship and residency at the Ochsner Clinic where he served as Chief Resident. Following the completion of his residency, Dr. Blessing completed a one year externship as a surgical registrar in Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. Blessing is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Robert "Casey" Fitts, MD
Dr. Fitts is board certified and is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Fitts attended undergraduate school at Harvard University and received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Fitts is the founder and Medical Director of Tri-County Project Care.
David Lucas, MD
Dr. Lucas is board certified and is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He attended undergraduate school at the University of Georgia and received his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).
